Quick Review – Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadow of Valencia.

As of now, I have played until the game opens up into the twin paths, on Classic Hard difficulty.   Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is the newest instalment in the long-running Fire Emblem franchise. It is a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden, the second title in the series, but don’t let that fool you – Echoes is the freshest, squeakiest-clean Fire Emblem we’ve … Continue reading Quick Review – Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadow of Valencia.

Getting Published; Some Tips.

As someone without any published novels (as of the time of writing), it might seem a little hypocritical of my to be giving this sermon – but I’ve been involved in the process for a couple of years now, on retainers with several publishing houses, and I’d like to share my thoughts on the process.   1) Find a Professional Agent.   Whether you’re a … Continue reading Getting Published; Some Tips.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge – Review.

Though the final blow was struck, Tartakovsky moved onto other beloved projects, such as The … Continue reading Samurai Jack – Retrospective & Review

Hooked on a Sequel – Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

It’s colourful. It sticks out. And these few sentences are enough to describe the movie as a whole.   The ‘Volume’ part, of course, comes from Peter Quill … Continue reading Hooked on a Sequel – Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

On Fox-Hunting

Theresa May has announced she intends to legalise fox-hunting in the UK. For those unaware of this ‘tradition’, I’m not referring to men in coonskin hats crouching in the bushes with rifles. If we were talking about just shooting the fox that raids your chicken coop, there would be no issue.   No. I’m talking about the blood-sport that is fox-hunting: the social gatherings of … Continue reading On Fox-Hunting
